Doolin Arts

We believe culture does not sustain itself. It needs backing, belief and a room to gather in.

Through Doolin Arts we have:

Published books.
Released records.
Supported theatre productions and independent films.
Hosted artists in residence.
Curated festivals, hedge schools and winter schools.

From intimate literary conversations to full scale music weekends, Doolin Arts programmes events that are rooted in place but open to the world.

There is a long tradition in this part of Clare of music, storytelling and learning. Doolin Arts continues that lineage in a contemporary way, ensuring that creativity is not just celebrated, but actively sustained.

Everything is done independently and on our own steam, guided by a belief that strong communities need artists the way older clans once had their bards.
